Comparison of Using Light Weight Brick and normal Brick
While normal brick is made from soil, sand and sometime mixed with mortar brick. This mixing then mold and burned in high temperature for several hours. The color of normal brick then changed to red brown color.
Comparison:
Light weight brick usually have size 60 cm x 20 cm with thickness about 8 cm to 10 cm. To build a wall with 1 m2 need about 8 light weigh brick, instant cement and water.
If build with normal brick you will need about 80 brick per m2 and need more sand and cement to compose the brick. To build will need more time longer than light weight brick.
The comparison from the base price per m2, light weigh brick will need about 8 x Rp. 8000 = Rp. 64,000 per m2 and using normal brick will need Rp. 650 x 80 = Rp. 52,000. But if using normal brick you still need sand and more cement to build and more time. So the total installment will more expensive if using normal brick.

House Model
Successful implementation of the equivalent wall approach largely depends on the proper dimensioning of building envelope components. A wall elevation for the house shown above is depicted in below. The wall system is comprised of 2 x 4 steel stud with R-11 insulation, and contains one door and one window. Only one wall is shown here, since it is assumed that the procedure that follows can be applied to construct the remaining walls of the house.
The first step is to list the building envelope sections that exhibit transient and multidimensional effects. The sample wall elevation contains the following sections of dissimilar thermal response: wall/floor, wall/ceiling, corner wall interfaces, window header, window framing, door header and door framing. In this example, the thermal response of the door header and window header are assumed equal. Figure below distinguishes each of these zones by color, with the dimensions of the transient and three-dimensional effects as indicated in the Wall Assembly Information Sheets.
The second step is to determine the building envelope areas for each dissimilar section. As noted previously, it is important not to double-count building envelope areas. The easiest way to avoid this problem is to first calculate the areas of the building envelope that contain three-dimensional effects. These values can then be subtracted from the total building envelope area to determine the clear wall area.

To Design Building
- Exterior models are models of buildings, which usually include some landscaping or civic spaces around the building.
- Interior models are models of interior such as halls, rooms, floors showing interior planning, finishes, colors, furniture and beautification.
- Landscaping design models are models of landscape design and development representing features such as walkways, small bridges, pergolas, vegetation patterns and beautification. Landscaping design models usually represent public spaces and may, in some cases, include buildings as well.
- Urban models are models, typically built at a much smaller scale (starting from 1:500 and less, 1:700, 1:1000, 1:1200, 1:2000, 1:2000, representing several city blocks, even whole town or village, large resort, campus, industrial facility, military base and such. Urban models are a vital tool for town/city planning and development.
- Engineering and construction models, showing isolated building/structure elements and components and their interaction.
