Notes of A Viennese Waltz
Who has not been carried away in a fight imagination by the sound of the notes of a classical Viennese waltz. The most famous of orchestras accompanies the harmonious dances of couples in ballroom dress who twirl around seemingly never ending rooms furnished with few but essential pieces of classical design. These are the images which almost always come to mind when faced with a certain kind of furniture whose style has been inspired by the Viennese period. Its design communicates a careful research into quality and a harmony of line and farm. The worth of primary materials, the care over details, top level finishes, all confirm the validity of these proposals on the part of the manufacturer and offered to his customers. We mentioned materials; all the pieces both of the dining and bed rooms are in ash with open pore black lacquer.
The technical details are original and important; the doors of the dining room dresser and side-board, head and foot pieces of beds, the wardrobe doors as well as the top drawers of bedside tables and the chest of drawers in the bedroom bear inserts in various design of prized elm wood, especially used too in the frames of different sized in ground crystal or in wood.
The beds, armchairs, chairs and frames are realized in solid ash. Key holes and keys are in polished brass. The inside of wardrobes, which are spacious and well finished, are built in Tanganykan walnut while drawers are in ash hardboard with strong metal runners. Some pieces display all the exclusiveness of real works of art.
The head and foot of the bed with delicate crossing of slender ash listels and carved lines which tend to slim dawn the models recall clearly classical inspired ambiances yet which in their formal characteristics fit excellently into a contemporary setting.
